What is the Master Brand Audit?

The Master Brand Audit (MBA) is a Fortune 500-standard brand audit for U.S. small and midsize businesses. Milo, Tappmedia's AI engine, grades your brand across 12 dimensions against a published rubric, then writes a solution for every one. One complete deliverable, reviewed and approved by the Branding Team before it reaches you. No tiers, no add-ons, no upsells.

What is answer engine optimization, and how is it different from SEO?

Classic SEO competes for a position on a page of blue links. Answer engine optimization (AEO) is about being named inside the answer a model gives. Whether an engine can cite a brand depends on signals it can verify: a clear category claim, consistent entity details across your site, LinkedIn, and profiles, structured schema, and specifics worth quoting. The audit grades those signals as AI Search Visibility, one of the 12 dimensions. Milo does not query ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or Gemini, and does not report what they say. It grades the signals those engines rely on, against the published rubric.

Who is Milo?

Milo is Tappmedia's brand intelligence engine, built on the methods elite brand strategists use and calibrated against Fortune 500 brand standards. Milo runs your audit and writes the solution for every dimension. Milo always discloses that it is an AI.

What are the 12 audit dimensions?

Dimensions 1 through 11 cover brand strength: Brand Identity and Positioning, Website, LinkedIn, Social Media, Content Strategy and Messaging, Lead Generation and Conversion Infrastructure, Trust and Authority Signals, Competitive Differentiation, Online Reputation and Search Presence, Email and Content Distribution, and AI Search Visibility (the signals answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews use to identify and cite a brand). Each of these is graded A through F with a verdict tied to what you submitted. Dimension 12, Legal and Regulatory Exposure, is different: two pass/fail hard gates (trademark and name collision, ADA/WCAG accessibility) plus four scored items (state consumer protection, federal marketing and outreach, data privacy, and copyright and originality). Its gate result is surfaced first, before the brand grades. Dimension 12 is a preliminary screen, not legal advice, and it is part of the paid audit.

What do I actually get?

The complete audit across all 12 dimensions, plus a written solution for each: website copy, a LinkedIn rewrite, a 5-email welcome sequence, Google Business Profile copy, a brand voice guide, 30 days of social posts with a content calendar, and an executive presentation. Tappmedia writes it, the Branding Team reviews it, and you publish it.

How much does it cost?

The sample audit is free to view with no sign-up. It shows, for a fictional brand, how the scorecard and the written solutions read. When you want it for your brand, one product does it all: the complete audit plus a written solution for every dimension. Each engagement is scoped to your brand, so pricing is set in your proposal and agreement.

What is the sample audit, and what does it include?

The sample audit is a complete example for a fictional brand, free to view with no sign-up. It shows the Dimension 12 gates, a full 12-dimension scorecard, and sample written solutions, all illustrative and none of it a client result. Your own audit grades your real brand from your submission, reviewed by the Branding Team before delivery.

How is MBA different from hiring a brand consultant?

Every grade in the Master Brand Audit is checked against a rubric published in full, so you can hold each one to the criteria. Every finding comes with its written solution, and the Branding Team reviews the report before delivery. You get the speed of AI and the judgment of a human branding team.

Is my brand data kept private?
